For this year Scout Car Races 2026 will take place Saturday July 4th 2026 and will continue to be held annually on the first Saturday in July.

Please make sure that your entry form is returned before the closing date (1st June 2026)
The event location is
Wombwell Kart Circuit, Barnsley, Station Road, S73 0BJ
Unfortunately there is no overnight camping on site available.
The nearest Scout camp site is Hesley Wood Scout Campsite, Chapeltown, Sheffield, S35 2YH.
Indoor Accommodation may be available in the form of camping at 9th Barnsley Scout Hut or 36th Barnsley Scout Hut please get in contact if you need more information on this.
The Nationals this year are being hosted by 105th Manchester therefore your help on the day will be necessary and most appreciated. Please could you contact us by e-mail with how many bodies you can spare. (1 from every team would more than sort it).
We would also really like some volunteers for 2027, you can be assured that our help will also be there but someone to sort out the location and local facilities is really needed. Please get in touch with us if you would even vaguely consider this and would like more info.
